IMA: Institute of Management Accountants
The main objective of starting an IMA Student Chapter here at The University of Tampa is to introduce students to management accounting and financial management at an early stage of their academic careers. This organization aims to strengthen the knowledge and commitment of those already on their way to management accounting and financial management careers through the use of networking opportunities such as conferences, local chapter meetings, and student chapter meetings with professional guests. Because the IMA Student Chapter is targeted towards students at the freshman and sophomore level, it is encouraged that students who join the IMA Student Chapter, use this organization as an information base and a stepping-stone into Beta Alpha Psi. For interaction with the University of Tampa's IMA Student Chapter please contact the following: Sara Richardson, President'),
